Hey buddy! Long time no talk, hope all is well with you.
I hope to be getting back to hitting the iron on a regular basis soon, with that I will be posting on a regular as well!
You know I will be here.

Update:
I just built a pull-up bar at my house that I plan on working into an outdoor workout space.

Pulled a weekend shift at The Gym the other day, and when it was slow, I did my own little powerlifting comp....
Dead: 345
Squat: 315
Bench (incline): 225
The numbers are not great, but for not being in the gym consistently, I'll take 'em.
I have been running 3+ miles 3-4 times a week, and have also been riding my bike to work (14 miles one-way) on numerous occasions.

Didn't you have a bar loaded with rotors?

Took it around 30 minutes prior to the workout, 12oz of water. Mixed great, just a couple of shakes in the ‘ol Animal shaker cup and it was ready to rock
Flavor: Green Apple- flavor was great, on point, just a hint of a “mediciney” taste, but overall enjoyable!
Reaction: in just a few minutes I started feeling the beta alanine tingles, reminded me of OG Rage, and I was happy! In a few more minutes the energy blend started taking effect, so I went back to the weight room and started to attack the Iron piles.
I did an arm routine to feel out the pump properties, and here were my observations….
A few sets in I really started to feel my arms pumping up, and my focus was laser sharp, however my vascularity was pretty much non-existent. (With Shock Therapy I always have veins popping)
The energy was clean with no jitters, or over-caffeinated symptoms. However I noticed that my “Laser Focus” started dropping around 30-40 minutes in, but the energy levels were still good.
I finished up the routine in around an hour and fifteen minutes, and finished the day off with Juiced Aminos.
Looking forward to trying the fruit punch flavor tonight. My plan is to do a leg routine and see how this performs.

Today I was underwhelmed by Project F. I went in for a light(er) leg day and wanted to more or less push the pump, started off with lighter squats and then some SLDLs then conventional deads, finally finishing off with calf raises.. here is what went down.
By doing this I was hoping for an outstanding skin-splitting pump, but was sadly let down. After the “tingles” faded, it felt like I had just had an energy drink or something preworkout. Now don’t get me wrong the energy I felt was super clean, I had a “well rested” feelingand felt really good, but that was about it, never got locked in fully.
The focus that I felt yesterday was non-existant, and neither was the pump. I had hoped to really flood the calves with some blood at the end but other than just the normal pump, there was nothing spectacular about it. I don’t know if it is because I ran this today on an empty stomach, and it passed right through or what…
But the next trial will be on my next run (which will be fun after this leg day) we will see how it does on a 3-5 mile treck.
The plus side was there was no “bubble-guts” crash, or jitters even on an empty stomach.

Wow, it's almost been a year since I last posted in here...
Well, fellow friends, it has been a bit of a stretch. I haven't been lifting consistently enough to warrant posting stuff up. I have been mostly running, around 3 miles a day and my job now is pretty physical.
The bad news is that "The Gym" was forced to close, not due to anything but the building owner selling it out from under us. The silver lining is that my stepson is going to reopen soon as Elite Strength and Power. Then it's on!
Until next time, keep strong Brothers!

Well everyone, another year in the books... I know I am not very regular in here these days... But life has a way of doing that.
So here we are, my family's gym shut down, and my stepson has reopened in a new location, I am currently working my ass off in a much more physical job plus I am helping a good friend out with his automotive repair business... I am still running and trying to hit the weights whenever I can, which is not enough.
I do have a home gym set up at my stepdaughter's house that I hope to start using as soon as I am done helping my buddy at his shop.
When I do start getting back into a routine, you can bet that I will be posting in here regularly.
Here's to the new year filled with opportunities!

My work sent me to Rochester NY, and low and behold I was able to find a gym! With the choice of sitting in a hotel room or lift, I think the choice was obvious!
Needless to say, I knocked out a few reps, and got a good pump going.
Now the question is: Do I do squats before a 13 hours in airplanes and airports????

Well, here we are, another year in (or two)
Life really has a strange way of working. I am currently working my ass off, plus I have all sorts of family stuff going on that it seems near impossible to get back into a solid routine.
I have been doing what I can when I can, but it is nothing to write home about.
I truly miss the forum and being able to sling iron daily, especially when one of my granddaughters fathers is sending me videos of him benching 600 lbs! ( He has been doing competitive strongman)
I still will be checking in from the to time, and hope all the guys here are doing well in this crazy time!
