While in Orange County, CA last week I got to train at "Orange County Strength Club" where I was blown away that the owner had four of the famous "Zuver's Hall of Fame Gym" 50 lbs plates.
I asked him if I could do some light squats with these historical plates.
A pair of 50 lbs Zuver's sold for $2,000 on eBay. I have 4 of those 50 lbs plates on the bar with a red 25 kg Ivanko plate sandwiched in between.
500 lbs x 17 reps.
Most I've ever done with this weight. Gym was cold AF today so it was hard to stay warm in between my warm-up sets leading up to this.
245 lbs on the SSB Yoke Bar.
Fuckin awful...but wanted to inspire anyone that is gonna take this challenge up and win a badass prize package from Corporate!

Was definitely a tough task. Hard to judge the approach...go fast and risk the quads tapping out. Or go slower and risk the hips/glutes tapping out.
Either way, it's a SOUL SUCKER.
I wish I took another 5 seconds of holding that last attempt at 21 reps with a big gulp of air. Maybe I could have gotten 21 reps.
