was doing rear delt machine flies hit my last rep of my last set to finish my brutally tough shoulder workout... and felt a sharp pain in the right side of my neck.
it immediately felt like when you get a crink in your neck from sleeping funny... except it's worse than the worst sleeping-wrong crink I've ever had.
what the fuck am I supposed to do for this type of strain?
I've used iceyhot patches since bedtime last night and tried ibuprofen, only to hear that anti-inflammatories are a no-no for us big weight pushers.
is this something I can anticipate to go away like a "I slept on it wrong" neck pain or is this indicitive of something more serious/detrimental? I'm stuck out of town working a rush job so would have to wait till Saturday to see a doc.
pulled neck? what the fuck?!
I am lucky tho... other than sore wrists I haven't incurred injury since I started lifting last thanksgiving.
