He used to be a fattie. He got out and was gone a couple years ago. He was found by someone under a boat trailer. He was skin and bones since then. When he got out this last time it was 20 degrees out. We all kinda thought he was dead. He’s still skin and bones. Our pit bull was so excited he ran and got a stuffed animal and brought it to the cat and they rubbed heads. I’m amazed he’s alive.

I’ve got some casein in the mail. I’m planning on doing 5:2 fasting. To non consecutive days a week I will fast. On those days it’s only 4 casein shakes. Weekly calorie intake will take a hit. We’ll see how this goes

AWE!!! That's sweet (just had my kids over the weekend sooooooooo yeah I'm in the loving Dad mode still). I also have a 15 year old red tabby female that my ex didn't even ask about when she bailed after her scam failed miserably. I picked the kitty out anyway at the SPCA, if my ex even THOUGHT to come after my kitty, she'd have WW3 on her hands and would bow out like she always does =) =) She's an indoor kitty (we got her when she was 4-6 if I remember correctly) that had a very traumatic youth so she can be very skittish at times still to this day.
I have no idea what my usual calorie intake is. I assume it’s around 2300-2500 calories. I do know I get @190 grams of protein a day give or take depending on the day.
It’s 4 casein shakes per day. One @ every 5 hours.
One shake is 44 gym protein and 240 calories, so 176 gm protein and 960 calories per day
2 non training days a week
This should put me in a 1400ish calorie deficit. That’s 2800 calorie deficit for the week. Shooting for a one pound weight loss per week.
I’m off work today so I can be successful today and monitor my blood sugar if I start feeling off. So far I had a shake at 0630 and at noon. Next shake @1630 then @2100 before bed. So far I’m hungry but not starving. I know if I try to shave the calories off each day I’d sit down to eat and blow out an evening meal or end up caving and snacking before bed. I know I’ll get up tomorrow morning and have a whey shake and banana then hit the gym. I won’t blow out breakfast. I can then eat normally the rest of the day. On a work day it will be no problem to pack up 2 baggies of casein and a shaker. I’ll be more active running around the ER though. More of a deficit, but I don’t want to go hypoglycemic.
I had a doctor appointment today and weighed 261 with my clothes and shoes on. Getting a new scale today.
Physical therapy update.
So when you call to make an appointment, some operator answers, takes your info and tells you you will get a call from a scheduler in 48 hours. I work 12 hour shifts and can’t take a random phone call and schedule a bunch of appointments on the fly. So I miss the call. Call back and get the whole we will call you thing again. This has gone on for a week. I have jury duty on the first and might have to do it for a month so I can’t schedule anything for the month of May. I don’t know. I can’t win. Going to just keep doing my thing for now

Had to end here. BB over hand rows I was running out of gas. I had a whey shake with half milk and half water and an apple pre. Maybe I should have upped the cals for training. I woke at 3 am starving but went back to sleep. Wasn’t starving when I got out of bed though. Scrambled eggs and pork chops post. I have a ton of chicken, celery, onions and carrots in the crockpot for later. Putting it over rice. Eating that for the next 3-4 days. Next fasting day will be Saturday, a work day.
Got a new scale. Yesterday I had a doctors appointment and weighed 261 in jeans, t-shirt and shoes. Today nekked after waking up, 252.2 lbs. Here we go!

So my MD appointment was with my endocrinologist. He just sat there behind his computer mind blown by my labs. He seriously couldn’t believe my labs. He said I wasn’t even in diabetic ranges anymore. Next time I walk in there I plan on making him shit his pants more. He’s going to be taking me off shit.
