Temples were pounding today. Rest periods were more about the headache subsiding than letting my body recover. Had 6 reps with 405 but having an aneurysm doing reps isn’t as sexy as dying maxing out LOL. Dimels seemed horribly light, but my hams were lit by the 3rd set. I was tempted to up the weight but I probably would have pulled something if I had. When that first set is light and you’re doing multiple sets it’s almost a trap.
Coached some guys my son’s age today. They broke out some knee wraps when squatting. They were wrapping top to bottom so when the first knee was done and they started the other one, they would bend the wrapped knee and the wrap would break and I could see skin. I’ve only maybe wrapped my knees a dozen times but know how to do it better than that, so I stopped them, gave some pointers. On my way out I wrote down some good websites to go to for articles and videos. Man did their eyes light up. Totally made their day with that. Of course I told them to hit me up with questions. I don’t know what some people are doing in the gym, but the ones you see getting after it are probably the one you can help.
