At work yesterday one of the doctors asked about my wrist. I showed him where it hurts when I do certain things and he said it's probably broke. It figures.

Wasn't into it today. I ran around the gym with a wrap on just my right wrist again. Wrist has been feeling good but I'm playing it safe. Didn't push the OHP nor did I do BB curls since those are two of the most stressful exercises on my wrists. It was nice doing the DB laterals since I've been useing the machine. My curls were disappointing. Overall it was an off day for me. Back at it next week.

There were so many times today when I wanted to quit or stop and I just wouldn't allow myself. Begining before I even stepped out of the house. I almost stopped the SLDL's at 85 and asked myself "why?" I knew I had more to give, so I kept going. I almost didn't even do shrugs and I nailed all of my reps even after doing back extensions. Of course, leg curls always suck at the end of this workout. Almost didn't even do them either. You just gotta keep pushing through no matter what. This is what makes us strong. It must be something going around in the air. I recently moved here to Iowa for a new job and had to find a new gym. I'm not quite comfortable with it yet and I just haven't had the same fervent fire that I had before the move.
I think I just need another ABC to kick my ass into gear.

Thanks Josh. Yesterday was my first day back to beating the shit out of myself LOL. I'm hoping next week to hit my 5x5 and nail 5 reps on that 335 bench. Self inflected pain for the win.

Supprised I did as well as I did on deads. My back was tight when I got up and it was one of those slow starting days. It helped at the end when I had my grip set on the 315 bar, hunkered down and I'm ready to go and some fool walks up to me and tells me some guys at the other end of the gym have some chalk I can use. Made an easy 5 reps. Thanks fucker. I had my "I'm not here to talk" shirt on too. Guess he didn't get the message. Dispite the SNAFU on HS rows, I had a pretty good day.

Several mistakes today.
#1 and probably the worst one, I came to the gym hungry. No gas in the gas tank means you ain't getting far.
#2 was that I was getting too into my own head. I caught myself sitting on the edge of the bench with my elbows on my knees and head down just staring into the black depths of the rubber mats. Thinking too much about personal shit. After catching myself I started asking, "are you giving it your all or just going through the motions?" "Am I exceeding my expectations of myself or falling short." I did triples today instead of 5x5 so the numbers may look good, but really it was an average day for me. Fuck average. I need to break down my mental barriers with a fucking wrecking ball. I'm not settling for where I'm at.
I haven't been eating as much lately. More fast food too. Usually I'll eat fast food x2 a week and it's been more frequent than that. Chicken breast in the oven as I type and brown rice is waiting on the stove top.
