I meant to do the O-bar curls yesterday, but the place was kinda busy. I got a late start and the after work people were coming in. So I grabbed the EZ bar just to get a pump and threw in some forearm stuff. I considered going home and doing the O-bar curls in the basement but didn't trust myself to do it. I got a late start because I had to take my 73 year old father in law downtown to get a marriage license. Crazy.
Having a B-day party for my son tonight. Took the day off to tackle the honey-do list. Tomorrow legs.

Best thing to do when you can't get on stuff. Just shoot for the pump & call it done.

Today hit arms. I forgot my log book but it went something like this:
BB curls
Seated alt curls
Preacher curls
Skullcrushers
Rope PDs
V-bar PDs
Kickbacks
Bike 15 min
It was kinda liberating not having my log book. I like to track my progress though. After the preachers I took the bar to a flat bench and started the skulls. After 3 or 4 reps got pain in my left elbow and stopped.

Good work out. Felt strong today too, but got pissed at those 305 sets on flat bench. I was tempted to hit up 315 but checked myself and still only got 3 reps!!
Weighed myself at the gym for the first time. They have 2 scales. On one I weighted 270, the other said 245. I'll just stick to the home scale.

Being totally honest with myself here, I am not focused on weight loss. I've tweeked my diet some, but I'm still focused on strength. I'm addicted to the heavy weights and haven't changed my focus. I think some of my lifts are off because of cutting my carbs down. I'm half-assing it. I need to back off the weight and get higher rep ranges and stick to my cardio. I've been looking at routine #7. I need to stop just looking at it LOL.

Saturday went to the ABC in New Buffalo Mich. Did deads with the guys then did some Lat pull downs, t-bar rows, close grip pull downs and seated rows. Had a good time. It was fun meeting the guys and I'm looking foreward to doing it again.
Yesterday I did my arms in the basement gym. Taking the day off today. Looking for legs tomorrow.

Starting to get more concerned about my elbow. It aches now just doing whatever sometimes. The weather's changing so maybe its that. After the holidays I'm getting it checked out. I might have to keep things light til then.
