390 was my top set. Instead of trying to get a couple of crappy reps with it, I opted for one perfect rep and moved on. I still got 4 reps out of it plus some heavier ones. Still, my dead lift is somehow stronger than my squat right now. Hell must have frozen over because that has never happened before

Continue to have left upper outter pec pain on close grips. But not regular bench. That’s why I didn’t go higher than 245. Push it and whatever it is will break. Injury free is the name of the game.

Same weight as last cycle. Last time I was so fried I couldn’t do 365 at all. Today I had 5 but my hand was sweaty and there was no knurling on the bar so I lost it. Reset, and it didn’t happen. I feel pretty confident that next week will be a strong one.

So hit the minimum. Did some light leg press too. On my 275 warm up set I could just tell the top set would be difficult. When I get in the hole the tops of my quads just feel shredded. I can’t figure out why I’m not recovering and the only thing that I can think of is I’m getting >gulp< old? Is that it? Are the legs first to go? Am I being a drama queen? LOL.
