Awesome.
Powerhouse Gym also has some Strongman equipment, and a boxing ring upstairs. Jesus Salud is a former Pro boxer from Hawaii that trains people in the boxing ring.
Give me a heads up when you go, and where you are staying.
I also got a friend that works for the 24 Hour Fitness in Kaneohe and I could get you a day pass to that gym if you are out on that side of the island.
Later!

Ok thanks man. I will be down there around Thanksgiving, not sure where at...I forget lol.
I had 1 hour break in b/w clients today, so I did some stair running at Qwest Field where the Seattle Seahawks play.
SO FRICKIN HOT in Seattle today, that it was 94 degrees at 6pm outside the gym across Qwest Field.
I ran underneath the "Hawk's Nest" in the north end zone.
Shock Therapy grap (pre-workout)
STAIRS:
40 steps up, then ran the same section down.
I did this for all 13 sections seperated by handrails under the Hawks Nest.
Does this make sense? Running up and down like a serpentine pattern for each section.
Finished it in 18 minutes.
Went back inside the gym and hit 50 crunches for 4 sets on a 55 cm resist a ball.
Torrent sour citrus (post-workout) and a cold shower!
Man, was it hot today in Seattle!
My last workout before the demo on Sat night.
Will hook up with Rage tomorrow when I drive down to Portland, Oregon.
YES TODAY WAS STUPID HOT!! Been sweating the entire day. Even had fun in the pool, lol. G, Im leavin in Sept. So, if all goes well with me trying to get this new car, then im gonna be up that way every chance I get!
Never fear competition. Welcome it, embrace it, destroy it.

Alright bro, I look forward to it.
Have a good weekend!
LMAO. Hey, Im lookin to get a gripper, what do you reccomend? Also, any thoughts on fatgripz?
I'm a big fan of "Captains of Crush" grippers from IronMind.com
I got a #2 in my garage. I will try to bring it to the warehouse this Saturday.
Love the Fat Gripz too. I use them at my work gym for my clients. Easy to slip on, and make it challenging for the everday person that doesn't lift heavy weights.

Torrent sour citrus rush post-workout for both of us.
I had to fit in some in some Presses today, cause I won't have time tomorrow during work to train heavy presses.
Thats why I fit them into my workout today.
Lots of grip today, and I'm glad cause its a weakness for me that I need to improve.
Just doing cardio tomorrow, and will take Friday off so that I am fresh for the ABC on Saturday with Mr Dead, Excessive, Sailinscotty, and the rest of my workout crew.
Huge power bro! Which reminds me, I've gotta train my hands so my knuckles will harden and my wrist won't give in for the sixth time when I punch somebody, hehe! Nice work here!

Thanks bro!
Our grip was FRIED afterwards. Especially after all those Axle bent-over rows & Axle High Pulls.
I got a couple of those actually. A friend of mine gave me a whole bunch of plates that were just sitting under his front porch.
I wire brushed them all, the spray painted them with Rust O Leum.
I had a 1.5 hour break in b/w clients today, so got to run in the sun today in Seattle.
Shock Therapy grape pre workout.
Lots of foam rolling to loosen up.
JOG AROUND THE NORTH PARKING LOT OF QWEST FIELD:
Its just over 3/4 mile. Used it as my warm-up. I run on the outer perimeter of this lot.
SPRINT INTERVALS:
There are these handicapped parking stalls that are perfectly apart of each other by 10 yards.
I sprinted to the 4th line (40 yards), then walk back to start line.
Repeat to the 5th line (50 yards), walk back to start.
Sprint to 6th line, walk back to start.
Sprint to 7th line, walk back to start.
Sprint to 8th line, walk back to start.
Sprint to 9th line, walk back to start.
Sprint to the 10th line which is 100 yards. Total of 409 yards of sprinting.
Went back into the gym...
55 cm RESIST A BALL CRUNCHES/BALL PLANK SUPER SET:
50 crunches, then do immediate 45 second plank on the same ball.
Did this for 4 sets.
Had a great workout today with all of my normal training partners, along with Excessive, Mr Dead and SailinScotty.
SHOCK THERAPY pre-workout
Foam rolled and dynamic stretches for 30 mins.
YOKE WALKS:
400 lbs for 80 feet
580 lbs for 50 feet x 2 sets
760 lbs for 80 feet x 2 sets
CONAN'S WHEEL:
We got stupid on our last set: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eE8jZ8UEjXc
That was 3 plates on each side, then Max who weighs 265 lbs and Kristyn weighs 145 lbs.
Inspirational story...
I met Ali McWeeney last year when I was the MC for the "Central Washington University's strongest man/woman" contest. She won the women's class, and you knew she was special. She was so gifted, and I thought that with practice she would be a great strongwoman.
July 4, 2009 she lost her leg in a boating accident. I found out when I returned from a Mexico vacation. One of my clients sent me a link cause she was pretty sure I knew this girl in the story.
I visited her in the hospital and despite being drugged up she told me, "Grant, I am going to compete in your show next year."
Last March, she competed in a USAPL meet and did the Bench Press only.
TODAY, was her first day of using a new prosthesis and she came to the ABC to workout. She did some Clean & Presses, light Farmers Walks, and also walked with an empty Yoke on her back. So frickin awesome! She was thrilled to lift strongman equipment again, and I am so happy for her!
Here is Ali doing some light Farmers Walks. She buckled near the end of the video, but let me tell you that she ended up finishing the course after I stopped recording! She just had a hard time learning how to walk with the prosthesis today, but her spirit was uplifting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBC7ieYurBw
TORRENT SOUR CITRUS post-workout
Breakfast with Mr Dead, Excessive, LaurionB and Scott Hughes afterwards!

Great videos, they all show what being an Animal is all about.
No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable." -Socrates
Obsessed is just a word that the lazy use to describe the dedicated.
