Just a bit of advice for some of the rookies out there. I know we've all fallen for the marketing and think whey is the best thing since sliced bread. The more, the better. Truth is, whey is an awesome supplement. So are other protein powders. But that's what it is... A "supplement". It should supplement your diet. Most of your protein should come from whole foods, like lean red beef, fish, chicken, etc. Use whey and other protein shakes to round out your total diet. To be dedicated to this sport, you have to put a lot of work in... Not just in the weight room but the kitchen. You have to be prepared to prepare wholesome, healthy meals... To cook in the gym, fire it up in the kitchen.
So, when in doubt, remember... "If you can bake it, don't shake it."
