Training went smoothly yesterday! Pec is just about healed up. Training this three week wave with Reverse Bands for the Barbell work is doing the trick.
Had a STUPID pump! Felt awesome. I expect to be very sore since I had to miss a few upper body sessions last week.

It's Friday!!!!!!!! It's warmed up a bit and the humidity is back! Everyone seems to be bouncing around as this is the type of weather we are more accustomed to. Only issue is the POLLEN! Geez your truck will be tennis ball green at the end of the day. Live Oak has released their seasonal GOLD German Pilsner Lager and it's soooooooooooooo DELICIOUS! Going to drink a bunch of them soon =)
Have had some warm weather lately! AC went out Saturday, but fortunately my contractor was able to send someone out. Mid-high 80's with full humidity! Some chillier weather is coming in later this week.

I'm truly enjoying the training and am staying to true to Powerlifting principles for the Primary barbell movements. Sooner or later I'm going to get the urge to get very lean! This first Quarter of 2019 has been a bit rough so I had to put a hold on all the cardio, etc.
Got some rain coming today and tomorrow! When the barometric pressure drops, it tends to make everyone lethargic (myself included). Got in some solid work though! The El Gordo Fat Bar Floor Presses just torched my muscles!
*I'll be hitting triceps and facepulls today since I missed them yesterday.
Hit some stuff I missed yesterday and did a bit more! Actually, I hit 4 movements in a giant set that gave me a screaming pump! Felt good. Didn't hit cardio, have been exhausted this week for a variety of reasons. Soooooo I decided to hit giant sets instead.
*Starting to catch something, feeling run down. Won't be training today. Possibly tomorrow if I feel better!
Kickass training session! Despite the explosion of a chemical company outside of Houston, which has sent a huge massive dark (looks like a rain cloud) over the city that is making everyone feel terrible, I STILL killed it yesterday! I'm liking the idea of Legs on Monday. The rest of the week will be cake and its a good way to start off the week =) I know, I'm nuts.
Didn't hit any ab work because my abs were toast from the Squats =)
Been draggin a bit due to the crap flying in the air from the chemical company tank explosion situation. Still put in some good work! This Fat Bar has me SORE!
*I goofed up the numbers initially and decided to stick with a particular weight for several sets.
Despite being exhausted (all of the chemical crap still in the air) I managed to get in a solid session! I always know its a good leg session when it's difficult walking up the stairs to help give the kids a bath =)
The legs are growing nicely. LOVE my new equipment! Next time I'll get Leg Press vs Bands in the mix. Didn't have time yesterday.
Been a rough last few weeks, training has been spotty to say the least! Still good to go though =) being of the last few to still post here, I will continue to do so as it's nice to keep an online log of your training somewhere that can be easily referenced.
What is your weight right now...just curious after seeing the dips with body weight. Im still stuck on 3/4 of a rep :).
LOL! Well, I use body weight because by that point my triceps are toast and I can only muster some dips with body weight. Was 272.2 this AM but by the end of the week fall in the 265-268 range. I've also started eating a bit less at dinner and that has helped quite a bit.
Soon enough I'll get on CUTS and try to dip down to 260 possibly break into the 250's! Been quite some time since I was in the 250's.
Didn't have a whole lot of time so I focused on the more Quad dominant movements. Perhaps I can make up what I missed later in the week. Was exhausted once we put the babies to bed! Didn't have the energy to hit other movements.
*The Primary movement fried me out pretty well, so I had trouble getting in a fourth set on all other movements afterwards.
