Solid session Tuesday! Legs were pumped and have been sore ever since =) Was draggin so I took TWO SCOOP BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!! Was fun! Blasted lots of thrash metal, was running around screaming/yelling going nuts and generally had a damn good stress relieving time!
Been stressful this week cause my looney tunes batshit sally ex wife moved further away and put the kids in a new school (a public school they were private). So it's been very unnerving and we had a shock on Monday when we visited the school for Meet the Teacher night. They had their first day of school yesterday (so my Wednesday periods of possession begin again!!!!!!!!!! SO HAPPY!) and they loved it! They're happy as can be I was so relieved. The staff at their new school has a lot of ladies my age and they're all very nice and super helpful. At pickup there are staff and kid helpers everywhere, once some of the divorced blondes found out I was divorced they wouldn't leave me alone =) I may like this new school after all!! Sometimes things work out in the damnedest of ways! I was so overwhelmed with everything going on at pickup I forgot to ask one for her number, LOL! One of my buddies was giving me shit for not doing so. They say you're not looking for a new wife and to go have fun with the lady divorcees, L O L!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's what good friend are for, eh =)

Some years back my training stagnated and wasn't progressing and eventually was even regressing. I was having a lot of trouble sleeping and it was just feeding into the cycle. It's obvious looking back, but wasn't at the time. I tried solving the problem by just training harder and more often. The more I trained, the worse the sleep and the less I recovered, the worse the training and the harder I pushed.
I don't think it applies here since you just took some time off. Just something to keep in mind if the sleep isn't coming, you aren't recovering and your workouts may have to be modified to compensate. Pushing hard feels good, but sometimes it isn't the best route to success.

Didn't train over the weekend. Body was begging for some rest for a number of reasons. Heat index has been in the 115 F range lately =\ might get upwards of 120F!!!!!!!!!!

Solid session! Was scorching hot, took a while plus was beat. Already sore which is always fun =) Got a whole lot going on in my world, looks like it's time to step up or or shut up! Won't get into it, but it's time to refocus everything in my life. ALL good things though and nothing I can't handle just need to do them!
Regarding training, I'll stick to less movements and more Sets. No need to hit 100000 different movements, just focus on the critical ones and get more Sets in!

Solid session! Was sore starting yesterday =) Pump was wicked and I was going totally apeshit nuts while training. Glad the walls in my one car garage I lovingly refer to as The Dungeon are super thick =)
Had my kids for my Wednesday period of possession and it was just wonderful =) They make all of the absolute hell that has been my life worth every bit of it!!!
Don't think I'll train today and I have my kiddos this weekend! I'm so beyond exhausted from an emotional, mental, physical and spiritual level not to mention the fact that the heat index is 112 right now! Needless to say, I think it's best that I just take it easy. Many things have been ironed out and smoothed over, but it's taken it's toll. REALLY wanted to train today but it would take me 3-4 hours to complete my workout and probably half a tub of pre-workout. With my genetically high blood pressure (currently taking two meds), that would be a DUMB idea.

Hit it hard Tuesday! Pump was sweet! Am nicely sore too. Haven't been sleeping well SO MUCH going on in all aspects in my life. My ex is losing her mind now that reality is setting in, LOL!!!!!! Thank the Lord for lifting or I wouldn't make it!
Wanting to train Legs, but am zapped of energy didn't sleep very well last night. My ex really was being batshit and I couldn't get it off of my mind. For the first time, I won't be going anywhere for my birthday weekend which is always Labor Dar weekend! Going to get lots of rest, lift, eat good and drink beer =) VERY MUCH NEEDED and am feeling good about not doing anything =) =) Will feel weird but times are a changing as I grow older. Will have the kids the following weekend and we will celebrate my birthday down at the coast!!!

Hit Chest yesterday! Had to, was hungover and tired but TORE SHIT UP!!!!! My pecs fried out pretty good after the first movement but I still got in plenty of work. I did so because it may be my only day of training this week. Have A LOT going on and am picking up the kids Friday from school and heading to the coast so we can celebrate my birthday with the kiddos =)
Really wanting to get a Back session in; especially, since I hit Chest and already and will most likely be at the club pool on that Saturday. GOTTA have my back and pecs PUMPED boiiiiiiiiii!!!!

FUN weekend with the kiddos at the coast! Had a blast and got to celebrate my birthday again =) The kids have so much fun from swimming in our pool, fishing & crabbing, swimming at the club pool, going to the beach, etc! I WAS EXHAUSTED already cause I had some stupid viral infection. The meds I had didn't knock it out so I'm taking some others and HOPEFULLY will feel better by Thursday cause I'm going out of town to go Dove Hunting!! Is ALL worth it to see how excited my kids get when they tell stories about all the fish they catch off of the dock and the blue and stone crabs we catch =) =) My son caught tons of Sand Trout (trash fish), several Speckled Trout (the good stuff) and caught a huge Stingray! Some things you can't put a price on and is worth the exhaustion =) They both say it's their favorite place in the world to go, I miss them and can't wait to see them tomorrow for my usual Wednesday period of possession!
Still got in some good training yesterday and the stupid hurricane was fun but always throws everything off. At least it was cooler! Had debris all over the place in my backyard and driveway, even had a tree fall over in the backyard. Oh well! Was very minimal compared to many of the storms we've had the last few decades! Was nicely sore and was even hurting bad during Deadlifts! Cut out a bunch of other stuff but upped the Sets on a few movements as I haven't Pulled in three weeks my muscles gave out pretty quick and I was actually sore after training =) Felt good to push the weight a bit. Good stuff.

Posting this a bit late so I hope I remember everythign =) Had a FUN and badass weekend of Dove Hunting in South Texas. Was STUPID hot! Had a storm blow in Saturday afternoon that blew out just as quick. That was fun to see and experience! Threw off hunting a bit but we still got it done. Much needed!
Shoulders felt nice and pumped after this session. Itching to get back it today with Arms!
