Thanks! Starting a new training cycle this week leading into my meet on 8/22. Shoulder is getting close to being healed and my strength has been through the roof. I'm going to hit some serious PR's on the platform!!!!!!!
Got everything re arranged at The Dungeon with ease! Even got a 30" Heavy Duty Fan, may consider getting another one. They work really well! Now, I just need my other pieces of equipment to show up!
I'm looking at getting a Seated Calf Raises from Elite. We can do Standing Calf Raises with a Weighted Dip Belt standing on one of the beams of the Monolift, but the Seated Calf Raise works the Calf all the way from the ankle up to the sides of the knees! Louie Simmons even has one, must be a reason!
The Reveal Party went great! FYI, pregnant women planning things can get CRAZY, LOL! Found out we are having a BOY!!!!!!!!! Very excited!
I've also recovered and am ramping up for my next training cycle which starts today! GREAT weekend!!!!!!
Conditioning - Sled Drags
2 Plates + 25 - 10 Sprints for 25 Yards and 2 Reverse Walks for 25 Yards
Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK. Training in ManCave 3.0 (previously a bedroom and a front room!)

Good work on getting the Dungeon set up. Nothing like having your own ManCave.
And congrats on the youngling!
My journey to a 1000 total from a beginner....achieved!

We've added another 3 week wave making the entire training cycle 15 weeks. Figured it would function as both a deload and a good way to get our CNS's conditioned for the intense work throughout the remainder of the training cycle.
I remembered hearing on an episode of Mark Bell's Powercast where he and Stan Efferding I believe were discussing Ed Coan. Ed would compete only twice a year with 16 week long training cycles; however, he would have 4-8 week phases where he would perform hypertrophy work. So I guess you can say I'm borrowing this from the GOAT. Not a bad person to follow, eh? Plus Stan was REALLY emphasizing how important recovery is and how guys train for YEARS and it catches up to them later. Gotta start being smarter about things.
*I'm going to be stupid sore the next 3 weeks, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hell, I'M SORE NOW!
Shoulder held up with zero pain! I can still feel something still in there, but it seems to be minimized. The shoulder is a bit sore and slightly inflamed. Going to see my ART Specialist today!
Really enjoying this Hypertrophy Wave thus far. I feel refreshed, sore and stupidly pumped! We've also been implementing more Beltless work, it's really hitting the core muscles HARD!
Pre: Pump
Driving to Gym: Juiced Aminos & RageXL
Intra: Juiced Aminos & Torrent
Post: Nitro, Creatine & Glutamine
Post-Post: Chicken Wellington and Vege Rice. Brownie fudge as well =)
Pre-Workout
Band Upper Stretching & Ironmind Egg Squeezes
Still unable to use a Squat Bar without pain. It is lessened a bit but is still there. The SS Yoke Bar will be my friend for a little while longer! Seeing my ART Specialist tomorrow.
My low back was tight and inflamed, made the day very uncomfortable. Couldn't get in as much work as I would have liked. Since my shoulder has been acting up, I've been lazy on the rolling and inversion table work. Got on the Inversion Table last night and hit the Low Back with my Rumble Roller. Will use my electric heating pad tonight on the low back to help loosen it up. Nothing serious, just what I get for being lazy. Goes to show you how important recovery and mobility really are!
*No Saturday Secondary Bench Days until after this wave. Want to keep it about recovery and prepping the body for the 12 weeks of abuse that is coming! Plus, I figure my shoulder will heal faster this way as well.
Pre-Workout
Band Lower Stretching & Static Lower Stretching

SS Yoke Bar Squats vs Bands (All Sets Beltless. Mini Bands were used. Was hoping this wouldn't bother my low back, I was wrong!)
132 Pounds + Bands - 8 Reps
152 Pounds + Bands - 6 Reps (Called it here)
Reverse Hyper (Always helps the low back)
3 PPS + 25PS - 3 Sets x 8 Reps
TKE's

P.S: A bit pissed that I let myself get lazy! Oh well, Date Night tonight with the wife! Pregnant ladies at home get stir crazy! LOL!
Friday was fun! We went to a fantastic French restaurant close to the house. I drank quite a bit, but hey! It's been a while soooo YEAH!
Saw my ART Specialist Saturday afternoon well before the pre-fight stuff was happening. He was kind of shocked that I still can't hold a Squat bar; therefore, he absolutely obliterated my AC Joint! It's STILL sore today! Normally, he works the whole shoulder but not this time. He wanted to focus on the AC Joint. It's quite sore today, feels like I hit a heavy volume shoulder workout!
The fight was depressing and I think they handed Manny that 120 million dollar check and told him, "Hey, Floyd is winning this fight. Take it easy." He honestly looked like another human being. OH WELL! He's partying on a beach for the rest of his life with many hundreds of millions of dollars in his bank account. Not bad considering he was at one point selling anything he could on the streets he grew up on for food money to help his family acquire food!
Got a ton done yesterday and Rumble Rolled every muscle in my body! A fun, relaxing and productive weekend.

P.S: Hypertrophy Deadlift today!
Nice work. Gotta enjoy life sometimes!
Couldn't agree more about the fight too - didn't watch it as I'm not a big boxing fan but when they both basically said 'its all about the money and remaining unbeaten means nothing', I had an inkling it'd be a circus. Makes me sad - guess I'll just have to keep watching teh Rocky movies eh? :-D EYE OF THE TIGER!!!!

Agreed. However, boxing is back on 12 networks I believe! Before it was on 2. I LOVE watching the card fights. Those guys bust their asses! Makes for great boxing.
I've always liked boxing, can't stand the watered down MMA and all of the ground humping. It's lame. STAND AND FIGHT! Right? Plus, I think most pretend to like the UFC so they can seem tough to their buddies. Just my opinion but it seems to be a becoming trend. Enough comedians have ripped on TapOut and Affliction; therefore, they've died in popularity thank GOD! Can't stand seeing little 5 foot nothing Meskins and White boys wearing that crap and trying to mean mug everyone. Makes me laugh and shake my head every time! PICK UP A BARBELL! Buncha bitches!
LOL! He's a bitch and the commission made Manny take it easy on him.
I am by no means a fan of boxing, but I felt compelled to watch some highlights of a lot of Mayweather's prior fights. You can't win if you can't hit your opponent, and Mayweather is just too damn agile.
I also heard today that Manny is having some kind of shoulder / rotator cuff surgery that is putting him out of commission for 9-12 months, so perhaps that entered into things as well.

I agree, I just don't think that kind of fighting should be legal. Duck, dodge and counter only. Pretty weak if you ask me!
Yes and they wouldn't give him treatment or shots of any kind.....wonder why.....
Decided to stick with 5's throughout this wave. Perfect amount of Reps and we can always hit more Sets. Recovering from 10's is just not what my body likes or wants (hence the low back inflammation).
The inflammation is way down. I've been laying on a heating pad at night before bed and utilizing my Inversion Table every night as well. Didn't tighten up at all yesterday!
*Conditioning has been added in and we will slowly increase Sets performed and increased weight throughout the training cycle. Going to order some Kettlebells too, I miss KB Swings on Squat days. Always worked the hell out of my lungs! Also getting a jump rope for Upper Days as well.
GPP - Sled Drags
3 Plates + 25 - 4 Trips at 30 yards each. Would go one way, rest a minute and come back than would unload weights and pass on to my training partner and repeat.
CoC Grippers (I've gotten weak with this device! That will change immediately)
No 2.5 - 3 Sets x 6 Reps
