This feeling is something I'm all too familiar with. Smashed my two outer toes Sumo Deadlifting in December and they were both a broken, bloody mess (iron plates).
The worst part was getting into my shoes in the morning but afterwards I could limp around and even train.
I've dropped a plate on my big toe before which was worse than this but STILL! Very annoying. Never thought the little digit could put your whole foot in pain! LOL!
GAINZ!!!!!!!!!! My toe looks a lot better, but still hurts and is slightly swollen on the outside part of the toe that connect to the foot bone. That is where the brake occur'd and THANKFULLY it doesn't not hurt at all to pressdown on my feet. Only hurts if I step on the outside of my foot while walking.
*I couldn't take it, HAD to start training again =) Going out of town Friday so Mon-Wed I'll finish out this week's training so I'll at least get a full week's worth of lifting in.

What you been doing? Oh nothin, just GETTIN HOOGE over here!!!!!!! Training at home is still beyond kickass and I'm seeing GAINZ! What else really matters regarding training???
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeell shiet! Sleep has been off lately. My baby boy was coughing and sneezing all night Monday night and last night my baby girl had a fever and has been vomiting off and on since about 2:00 this morning. Running on fumes lately but still getting it done! I don't want to get sick and I'm going out of town Friday, so I'll most likely rest up today and not lift until next week. I'll be smart for once =)
*Have been hitting 20 minutes of LISS cardio at night after dinner the last few nights.
**Call me crazy if you wish, but I do believe Leg Day to be my favorite training day! Something about it.....Back being a close second. My favorite movement is the Bench Press, PERIOD! Buuuuuuuuut Chest/Tri's isn't my favorite but everything is subject to change over time =)
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeell my kiddos stuff got to my wife and than to me. Been on anti-biotics since Saturday and got a cortisone shot Monday! I won't get into details but it's been a long ass last couple of weeks. 2019 has started out rough for me, LOL! Missed training cause of the break, than broke my toe, got mildly sick than better than became full blown sick. Geeeeeeeeeeeeez! Trying to keep dem GAINZ coming but DANG!
Do you know WHY I continue seeing DEM GAINZ?!?!?! CAUSE I PUT IN WORK YOU LITTLE BITCHES!!!!!! I don't make excuses and I have every reason not to get HOOGE but I still do so! Babies, sickness, new house, wife, work, family business politics, etc DOESN'T MATTER! I GET IT DONE!

You have to just train around life. And sometimes that is difficult. But it is never unrewarding.
My journey to a 1000 total from a beginner....achieved!
Didn't train last Thursday! Weather was changing, busy as hell at work, getting over a cold and wanted to drink beer and play with my babies before I was gone for 3-4 days =)
For the next 3 week wave of training, I'll be performing higher Reps and adding more sets in as the weeks progress. Had a STUPID pump yesterday! Felt awesome.
Elliptical - HIIT Cardio (Immediately post training)
Level 10 Resistance - 4 Rounds of 2 minutes low intensity and 20 seconds of all out intensity

Some new toys arrived yesterday!!! Got to hit pulldowns and low rows on a proper lat pulldown machine =) Had a SWEET back pump! Has a 300 pound stack too! Can't wait for Leg day to use my Leg Press and Sissy Squat! There will be some more equipment in the future like a pec deck/rear delt machine and leg curl machine for absolute certainty. Will try to make more room to get a custom built dumbbell rack for sure as well and the icing on the cake would be a preacher curl machine!!!!!!
Pump was wicked yesterday! I felt soreness already after training and am sore as shit today! Need to order more pulldown/low row attachments =)
*Was a bit wore out from the movers and I unloading everything and re-arranging EVERYTHING yesterday! Soooooo this session was very simple and not as volume intensive as usual. The Rack Pulls really took it out of me. Plus it's close to 80 degrees for the high and muggy as hell! February is always gnarly weather here in HTown. Supposed to get a cold front Thursday, which will be fun minus the rain.
