Do you think dips work the best on Triceps, Pecs, or Shoulders the best? Or another area?
Depends on how you tilt your body angle, but id say rotator cuff and tendons more than muscles. If id have to choose between the chest dip or the tricep dip, id chose the tricep version, feels more natural to the body.

I get the best results putting a heavy ez bar on my thighs and doing them rear-style with my hands and feet between benches. Pure triceps and nothing hits my triceps more directly and they work great for me, no shoulder discomfort at all.

This is the only way that feels natural to me. I can do them like others have suggested with back rounded, for chest. And I do feel it in the chest, but also puts alot of pressure on my shoulders as well. This way just destroys the triceps, for me personally at least
