Plenty of dudes eat several cups of oats a day? Really? Can you show me who they are, i wanna shake their hand and give em a high five. Because my belly cant handle all that avenin, i dont know anyone that can! lol
When I am running low on brown rice and I am having a high carb day (carb cycling) I tend to make up for my brown rice (which is usually my main carb source all the time) with 3-5 cups of oats throughout the day and I don't get bloated. It's kind of strange...I bloat pretty easily, but I don't bloat at all when I have oats.

Why do u use brown rice so much? I don't think there is that much difference in white vs brown? Just a question, not bashing it!

I don't really know. It's just easy to get and I like it. I actually tried going to white rice for awhile but it seemed to bloat me. Also..I am under the impression that brown rice is the lower GI carb... I may be wrong though.
I think alot of that has been a myth. I think alot of guys, unless they are in a serious contest prep diet, would say go with the white if you want. But if you can stomach the brown, I don't think there is anything wrong with that. Check this out.
