OK, so I've been gone for quite some time. I severely injured my back and had to take about 6 months off from lifting. After months of doing nothing but rehab stuff and yoga, I'm finally back under the bar and ready to get back to my goals...only this time I've set the bar even higher...I want my PRO total.
Due to my injuries, it seems that RAW lifting is going to be out for me for a long while. I've started training in single ply and I'll be doing my first equipped meet November 12th with my other recently injured training partner, Sam Byrd. I plan to total ELITE at this meet with at least an 1190 total. My squat and bench are holding up pretty well, but my deadlift is definitely my weakest. If I can squat around 500 and bench around 315, I won't have to worry about deadlifting too much to get my total.
I'll try to keep up with this log as best I can, but I am a full-time student, so don't hold it against me if I only update once or twice a week :)
I've been videoing a lot of my training to make sure my form is holding up, so most log entries will also have video. I appreciate all form critiques!
Thanks for reading!
