what i dont understand...and im surprised nobody has asked this question before..
is how come bodybuilders back in the day (late 70s-thru early 90s)
have dieted on what today's standards considered high carbs (200-250 grams per day)
and still have achieved ripped physiques?
if you look at classic training videos..most all body builders will tell you they dieted on high carb ,high protein and low fat... and they are in contest shape ?
my guess is because food was more "whole" and "natural"
and that lowcarb is a big myth....in my personal preference i never lower my carbs more than 150 grams a day....although i include higher fat (not like back in the day) in the form of fish oils, fish, avacados, olive oil, flaxseed etc...to make up for my missing carbohydrates and achieve amazing results.....
so whats your guys take on this......how come it was like that back in the day...then all of a sudden carbs make u a fat fucker?
