Let's clean this thread up. Zub is a young gun with many questions. He doesn't have access to all the things we're fortunate enough to have ourselves. Sure, he can use Google and the internet in general. But he comes here. Why? Because he looks up to us. He trusts us and our opinions more than the rest of the internet's information. He holds us to a higher standard. And we bash him for it? Even though his question may seem redundant, this thread went 63 posts. Not too bad, IMO.
Zub. As others have said, you'll never know until you try. There's more than one way to skin a cat, especially in this sport. There are 1,000 different diets and just as many different training routines. And you know what? All 2,000 work. YOU NEED TO BE CONSISTENT. That's your main issue. One day you're bulking up. The next day you're trying to learn MMA to win a free month of training. Day 3 you're eating nothing but junk to get huge. Day 4 you're cleaning up the diet. Day 5 you're not hitting the gym and just doing cardio. Day 6 you're back at the weights.
Stick with a goal and dont' give up until you've reach it. We're all here to help. But if you don't stay consistent and dedicated, we can't be of much help.

Theres a world of difference between info and knowledge. Google can get ya info but it dont give u knowledge. This place here, the FORVM can provide knowledge and with it, the task of gettin good info becomes that much easier...

Thankyou Aggression... you said what I wanted to say... I was so offended with bruiser's attitude... Yes you are right sometimes people see me when I am just changing up but when I am bulkingup and I am doing an unclean bulk, I make up a mind to train for mma but still I don't, and keep up with the bulk, when I see fat getting on me I start to clean up the diet but still I am bulking right? I do whatever I can to stay consistant... if u see my journal before I stoped weight training, I was consistant with em, and I stoped weight training because I got a lil problem with the gym owner and then I couldn't go to anyother gym... and when I again started to train I still couldn't because of some personal, financial and family issues....
I respect all the people here and bruiser know that with how much respect I talk to him, even if he was rude I could be rude too but instead I stoped posting... The info I get from here, I value it much more than anyother on the internet...

Okay Zub. You know how I am, brutally honest. So here it goes.
Yes, you do irritate the living shit out of me sometimes. But I'm not trying to be disrespectful towards you. If I was, you'd know it. Like you said, you bounce around a lot and don't really stay consistent which is what irritates me. I think if you took more time researching these things you want to know, you'd be more apt to stick with something and give it time to work. Instead you're asking for simple answers, getting them, trying them and giving up in a matter of week or two. Where it should be taking you a few weeks to really study the original issue, then another few weeks/months to incorporate it and see if it's going to work. I think you'd see a lot better results and be a lot happier with yourself if you tried it. Don't take the easy way out.
I find with the quest for knowledge, if you get the quick, easy answer on here then it can be forgotten just as quickly...
If you take the time to figure these things out then they stay with you.
There's NOTHING wrong with getting the info right here - this place is an amazing place for us all to rely on each other. But it's not the be all and end all. Bodybuilding/Powerlifting/whatever you're into is a very personal lifestyle. When I hear what some of the guys I train with eat I think "I'd never eat that!" and at the same time they throw away my diet as being 'too bland'. Whatever. It works for me.
We may not all know the answers, but that's when the quest for knowledge begins. And it's an exciting quest if you take the right path.

Solid post there Bruiser. I think if you combine your honesty and approach with the stuff ya know, it'd be fab.
Ya see, your initial post might've been true but depending on who's reading it, it could come across as disrespectful, assholish, whatever. While your intent (and I'm just filling in stuff here myself) might be to get him off his ass doing research before asking questions, it could very well "scare" folks, cause them to gt upset and nothing productive happens. The post I just quoted IMO doesn't come across as disrespectful at all. Hell, it could've been more harsh and I wouldn't have minded. Some people, and this ain't aimed at anyone specifically before you start asking questions, just need a wake-up call and this style might be more suitable than a punch in the face.

Well said to Tiger, too.

Thanks man. You're right, I rarely mean to be disrespectful. But I do LOVE being an asshole, so you're wrong there! Lol. I think my main issue with a lot of guys on here is that I've just heard the same thinigs too many times from the same people. Plus, everyone sugarcoats everything nowadays which makes things worse. I may be blunt, but no one will ever question what my point of view is. And look, if I had sugarcoated this shit like I use to, we'd still be discussing PB instead of what I believe to be Zub's underlying issue of not sticking with something and trying to learn on his own. So I may be crass and an asshole, but I will always move the topic forward. Thanks again man.
