Are you fucking kidding me dude? 300 is a milestone. We all start from different places and have different strengths and weaknesses….progress is progress.
How do you expect to run with the wolves at night if you spend all day stuntin with the puppies?
Hit 390 for a triple yesterday. It was a significant PR for me. Last time I was able to do 390/3, I had to wrap the knees. Going from a wrapped 390/3 to a 'raw' 390/3 was big.
Thats some huge quad gains right there!

Sorry for the delay, I just saw these.
First, Thank you and everyone else for the complements.
Fourth quarter last year I was pushing to get my bench back to 500 lbs and in the middle of December I did an ugly 475. About mid January I kinda burned myself out and backed away from it, so I'm sure that my 1RM right now is probably more in the 425-430 range.

Youre knocking on 500 man. Or you were and once you build it back..you will.

deadlifts, 500x11. That is a 7 ore 8 year PR break, and without straps (strapped up for the original 500x10). Likely at a lower bodyweight but not for sure on that one.
Had been so long my dry erase board wouldn't erase haha.
Last meet: 539/330/623//1493 @ 220: USPA Sunflower State Games 7/15/17 (Classic Raw)
Next meet: December 2017 - USPA in KC, MO - 1540 @ 220 or 198. Kansas City ABC

Fuck yea! The best PRs are always the long standing ones...
Hit a little bit of one when I pulled the other day with 525x4. I've gotten it multiple times for 3, but could never quite get over the hump. Next mark I'm aiming for is 5 plates for 10 myself...Not quite there, but soon!

Awesome work! Long standing PRs are the best to break!

Niiiiice! I saw the video yesterday, didn't realize it was a PR. You gonna start working the sumo back in for BOB4?
Gonna try to smash a deadlift PR tonight myself...not anywhere near that level tho

I'm not going to really work on my sumo right now. It's actually felt great when I've done it, but I want to increase my conventional right now, and since I'm not training for a full meet yet I don't have to focus on making sure my sumo is the priority right now. Whatever strength I can add to my conventional by building my back strength should in turn transfer to a bigger sumo pull once my leg strength returns as well. But for the next few months I just plan to push the conventional. I've cleaned up my form and it feels a lot more natural now.

Part of me would love to see what your max is conventional at some point. But at the same time, i'd hate to see you risk your back when your sumo is also on point. How far apart do you"think" your conventional is from your sumo?

I recently hit a 700 DL for the first time in a year and a half since injuring my back badly.
I have been very hesitant to lift heavy. So hesitant that gave my old belt away, put my new belt at home and told pioneer to hold off on making me the belt they were putting together for me. That forced me to stay light for a long time.
Although my best is 780(gym), 750(comp), this 700 feels more like a new PR because I have to consider myself a different person with different limits. But i am still super happy about this since I havent gone higher than 605 in the last year and a half and have being doing lots of deadlift cardio(light weights for 12-20 reps) instead.

SQ:
- hit 450 in my last meet, in sleeves. This ties my all time "official" knee-wrap PR. I've hit 480 in wraps in the gym. So the next goal is to best my all time knee wrap PR in just sleeves.
- A week or so ago, I hit 405x3 in the gym, which is an all time 3 rep PR. Previous was 390.
DL:
- pulled 510 in the same meet, which is a minor 5lb PR. More importantly, its a number I've failed to hit on my final attempt at the last FEW meets.
- pulled 495 off 2" blocks for a rep in the gym. First time I've ever "toyed" with 5 plates. Usually if 5 plates are on the bar, I'm going big and going for an all time PR. This time around, it was just a top set, but in no way did it feel like an all-out rep.

I don't really know, but I know it's over 800 now!
