Typically hit barbell rows underhand, but have been working on overhand recently. Yesterday, hit 315 for 8, first time i've ever gone for 315 on overhand rows. Felt great lol

Just wanted to do a short fun workout today, so I tested my balance and core with some no handed squats. First time I ever hit it, and it actually felt awesome, I say it's a PR because in my mind I set something a bit lower. Hit 315 with no hands and had 365 for sure but didn't have my partner there and didn't risk it without his spot.

After spending 5 weeks in the hospital and almost dying from pancreatitis earlier this year, I battled back to my previous DL max of 315 back in September. The only other time I pulled 315 I weighed 270 lbs. Now I'm sitting at 225. Since then I've been hitting a PR about every 2 weeks! Today I pulled 385! Not bad considering just a few years ago after a botched back surgery I was told I'd never lift over 50 lbs again (not to mention I ended up in a wheel chair with no feeling in my legs for several months). Now to keep moving towards my goal of the elusive 400 on November 3...
Newly achieved PR of 405 x 2 and 425lbs x 1 on deadlifts!! And really this is only maybe my 5th deadlift workout ever so im pretty happy abt it!
Derek, we neeto get together and train sometime! Arnt you glad I got you doing deads. I think this is your exercise!

Bruiser - now that is getting it done :-D
410lb deadlift from a 3in deficit - my max from the floor is about 450 and this was about a 40-50lb PR so I was pretty damn happy. Pushing onwards to 500 (the deadlift is the only lift I intend NOT to be humiliated in on Nov 17th in my first meet!)
