Bench is moving well. I just finished a few weeks of building volume with 80% which went really went. Subjectively- feels great... but objectively..i wont know until I get through these next few weeks of adding some weights. Jeremy had what looked like an easy 455x5 so I better step my game up as I think I could only do about 2 maybe 3 paused with that... But we'll see...
you're still 26 pounds over!!!??? Man, thats nuts, I still got a lot to learn about cutting because that sounds nuts to me. I dont feel so bad about Kade anymore because he's only 18 pounds over in comparison. I guess I can stop calling him Fatty Weber in an attempt to bully his weight down.
Yeah weight is still high right now, but not too bad. I did see Jeremy's bench. Looks good. He'll hit a big total and everyone else will leave 220s lol

So this was my 4th bench session in 8 days and my forearms were killing me. Even to the point where I thought my grip might give out.
But... pressing strength was there.

I didn't deadlift this week as the schedule got crazy and really, my hips were a little (a lot) off.
SO I felt pretty refreshed by yesterday with only a little tenderness in the IT band.

pretty simple workout, but I'd been slacking on the front squats the last month or so and I felt like my deadlifts were getting more and more "off" as my hips wouldn't stay down as well in the start of the pull. Came back with this PR set today and a little bit of a quad pump, so I feel like that won't be a problem going forward. Now, I don't usually front squat too close to my comps, but as I certainly don't feel overtrained at this point I'm confident that they'll be more helpful than problematic this time. Just going to play it by feel.

Nice man, getting work done in a timely fashion. How much do you enjoy your buffalo bar? I don't know if I'm advance enough for that kind of equipment. BTW Dan, are there any openings for you as a coach?

Today I did things a little different. It was my first day training with my new set of kilo plates so I wasn't always sure what I was lifting lol, but wow does the exceptional machining make a huge difference. These things do not chatter or rattle at all. Training felt great.

yeah it immediately felt good and strong and can work the tris much harder than on a flat bench it felt like. ALmost like doing a heavy pressdown. But felt no pain in the elbows!
