I have and I will again, just have my sights set on the all time bench...after that, going for maybe the total record for 242 or 275...I don't see me ever getting the squat or deadlift record but hey...will go at it hard.
That's what I figured. I figure you could easily do 700/650/700 about any day of the week. No reason you can't hit the All Time Record.
Well leg day went well, still on the "make sure I don't break a rib again" training for that, so went light but felt crazy easy...lot of paused squats, etc but in the 450 area.
Chest is tomorrow, can't remember exactly whats on there but I wanna say between deadpresses and paused triples, over 12-15 reps over 600. Volume volume volume...
Alright, had a few good days, chest went well but was hoping for a better feel on the bench, got the reps but was hoping it'd feel easier. On flat bench, hit a couple triples with 615, but pausing for a couple seconds at the top for a exaggerated start command, pausing on chest and at top on every rep. Deadpress hit about 6 singles with 600, speed bench went around 5 quick triples with 570, stuff like that.
Legs are feeling better, paused squat sets of five with 450 again, feeling light so baby steps and getting back up quick.
Chest is tomorrow...need some sleep...mattress at home sucks, taking care of 8 month pregnant wife...is a pleasure... :) Love you Shelly...
Will post how it goes and get some vids going here soon.
So, posted the video, not sure, but here was my basic sum up of chest...
worked my way up to a 585 paused, start command, pause each rep top and bottom, for a triple, then 625 for two sets of 2 same pausing. Then had 4 speed sets with 575 explosive triples. After that was auxilliary work, closegrip band 3 board presses, scalpula retractions, hammer curls, etc.
Still building up on deads and squats, rib is feeling good so weights going up, doing nice and slow, controlled paused squats and strict deads with around 500 for sets of 5 and 6...going up weekly...
Found the thing that kicks my ass the most..a sick, 7 year old little boy...and I'm out...for days....sucks ass. He's better, I'm getting there, just the force feeding, meds, hock up the brownish green shit, and try to take care of the hormones exploding out of the 8 month pregnant woman...love you baby...

Man oh man, you've got your hands full right there!
Yo, Jeremy. I might be taking a Summer Coaching Job in Leesburg, any places any good to train up there?
haha...nope...
I train at a small fitness center in Fruitland Park, just north of Leesburg, they have...enough. The gold's are about 45 minutes each way, one is ok, one is more like planet fitness...everyone is 100 years old...
Ok, so was getting better, took some medicine and it either opened me up to whatever I had, or I had an allergic reaction...slept a straight 72 hours...got up like 3 times to eat and piss...kicked my ass...
Started feeling better so hit an easy speed chest and shoulder day and felt like I tore my shoulder on the last set of strict OHP's...it's not, no bruising and feels better already, 30 hours later, full range of motion, etc so gonna give it a few days to a week and get back at it...when it rains it pours, because I know baby is coming soon so there goes sleep as well...sigh...

Great, haha. I took job. Coaching at Pat Thomas, gotta find a place to train on weekends while I'm up there.
Yeah, your best bet is Infinity in Fruitland Park, it's only about a five to ten minute drive from Pat Thomas depending on traffic headed north...
Ill check it out. Gonna sleep at brothers some in Winter Park so gonna ride up to OBB and check it out. Like to meet those guys too, I don't really know anyone in Powerlifting outside of the FORVM.

Yeah that's probably a much better gym...by far...
Ok, so popped something, maybe bicep tendon in shoulder area...thought was ok, bruised up pretty good about 3 days later and has been for almost two weeks now...sucks. However, that movement is much better and I'm going to try a basic deload chest day tomorrow. The only thing that really makes me feel it at all is a hard stretch behind me with arm straight to the side...bench motions I haven't felt the entire time so we'll see...if all goes well tomorrow should be good to go but will ease back into it...

Ha an ok day back, worked my way up on the flat bench, did a few warm up sets not feeling the shoulder at all, did 405 for two slow sets of 5, felt crazy light, honestly felt like 225 but at the end of each set, I felt tight in that shoulder and to play it safe, I quit there. Feel like I'm honestly at about 60%, next week probably 80, then after that should be good to go all out. Playin it by ear...baby...any...day...she is miserable and can't sleep...therefore, guess who gets woken up....good times.
Did a deload day, light enough to where I didn't really even need to warm up, usually deload 405 for reps or speed sets of 3 and ended up doing 315 for 8 fast triples...no pain, still feel it when I lift my arm like a front raise or lateral but benching I don't feel at all...bruising has gone down significantly and feeling better. However, pushing on it between my front delt and lateral delt just above my bicep still sucks...we'll see. My work now gets free MRI's so I might jump on that.
