ERIC SPOTO "700 Raw Bench"

Spoto told me he used a lot of adrenaline after the initial warmup sets--the crowds in and around The Cage will do that to you. When he was preparing for 700, he wasn't sure if he had anything left in the tank. But that 700 went up like it was nothing. Incredible.

Seath and I were able to hang with him most of the weekend at the airport...both ways to and from Ohio.

What a great fuckin guy. Spoto is like a neighborhood kid you grew up with but very knowledgeable about his lifting.
We had a blast kicking it with him at the airports and we even shared a taxi with him on the way to CMH airport.

I have seen James Henderson raw bench press over 700 lbs raw live.
Now I can say I saw Eric Spoto do it live but in The Cage.

Just wanted to let Eric know that Tiny Meeker was in the Cage to watch him lift. I know that Tiny has obligations to other sponsors and his own line, but he made it a point to be there for Eric. In talking with Tiny, he is very impressed and totally floored with how Eric handled the weight. He wanted to let Eric know that when he's ready to go into equipment, give him a buzz. :) :) :) Eric, you just a lit a fire under Tiny's ass by the way. :) :) :)
