As my mid-life crisis continues, I have started to push the tempo on all things. Strength work done to a clock, more high-rep bodyweight exercises for cardio etc.
18/9
Yes, I did a thruster. I don't know why but it seemed like a good way to work squatting back in to my life.
Thrusters with 50k - 30 in total
10 / 8 / 6 / 6
Bodyweight bb rows - 10
Thrusters with 60k - 20 in total
Finally got better form with these - front rack significantly improved
Bodyweight bb rows - 20
Thrusters with 70k - 10 in total
Mostly in singles
Bodyweight bb rows 30
So in total, 60 rows with 90k barbell and 60 front squats / push presses. Volume win.
19/9
No hook double overhand deadlift
Every 30 - 45 secs warming up
60 x 3 / 80 x 3 / 100 x 2 / 110 / 120 / 130
Then every 30 seconds
140k for 10 singles
Rested 2 minutes
140k for 10 singles - wore straps on the last 4 as my grip was starting to give.
This is more grip volume than I have achieved in a long time.
