Ok, I did my meet. It was the 2013 Battle of the Mississippi Power Classic in Quincy, Illinois. I accomplished the goals I set out to going in, so I will call it a success. It's still far from making me a good lifter, but it's a start. Without putting any real effort into it, I made the 3-O-fats by 0.3 kgs. Yay me!
The equipment here was really top notch. Jason had Texas bars and new Ivanko plates along with a nice "ER rack" like set up. I loved the bench pad on that thing. It wasn't short and it was wide enough for me to fit my shoulders on.

Summary - 280/200/300 = 780 kg total 617/441/661 = 1,720 lbs total
This is the first full power meet that I have done in way too long. The things I wanted was to squat over 600, finally bench 200 kg in competition, and get at least 1,700 lbs for a total. All those considered, I got what I came for. I also won my weight class and the overall lifter by formula and got some really nice trophies for it.
