I've read about the blood type diet before and I thought it was all bs but now I'm curious to try it out. I'm blood type O as well and I've already figured out I don't react the best with dairy. I do love my coconut oil though :( I only have 1Tbsp a day it I may switch it for flax or grassfed butter. I gotta go grocery shopping today or tomorrow so I'm going to explore the recommended foods!
Dairy is one of the foods to avoid with O's ... As far as the coconut oil, I used it 2x a day, just to cook my egg whites... Hmmmm eggs AND coconut, two no no's... Lol

Interesting.
I´m 0+
A couple of years ago I have cut out all dairy (milk) products for bodybuilding contest purposes. Looking back now, I feel much better since then. My digestion is great. I have less inflammation in my body and I don´t get any acne anymore.

Am I just imagining this or could this be real?
How about gluten? That's another one... I know that gluten is a "hot button" topic now, but that's another with digestion...

thank you deanna for posting up your thoughts and experiences on all this- it is very interesting
i also wonder when discussing what food 'native peoples' ate or where your ancestry originated, the fact that so many of us are mixed blood lines (im personally a heinz 69 lol)

True.
I´m averaging at 1000g carbs per day in the offseason.
I notice that I can have some gluten containing carbs but I certainly have to limit them. A serving of oats and a serving of pasta (100 carbs each) per day is maximum. Anything more than that and I´ll digestive distress...
My main carb sources are rice and corn products.
