Pretty sure we had a tag-team squat competition in the Cage a few years back. It had Kuclo, Serafin, Farnsworth and someone else. Wasn't that 405 for reps? I know Kuclo had something in the high 20s. Farnsworth too.
Edit: found a video
I remember with Kuclo did it...smile on his face the whole time. I think he got to 30.
Thats rite. Wuz shapin up to be an epic event until the injury...
Mebbe an "open" event for any and all takers???
I'd definitely want to take part if there is an open event! Nobody knows me, I'm not well known….but I guarantee that I can squat 405 for over 20 deep reps with a belt and no knee wraps.
This was after 5 sets of 10-12 reps with Sumo deadlifts
Sumo Deads - 5 sets of 10-12 reps
Barbell Squats - 5 Sets Of 12-20Reps
Leg Ext - 4 Sets Of 12.10,8,6
Lying Hamstring Curls: 4 Sets Of 12,10,8,6
Lunges- 4 Sets Of 10 Reps Per Leg
Step Ups - 4 Sets Of 10 Reps Per Leg
Wow! HIGA has endurance to spare, that was super impressive!

I tried this 2 weeks ago after my last heavy set. I got to 10. I was immediately sore and in pain afterwards lol it was not a fun time at all. Its beyond impressive that these guys are bangin out 20+, not only physically strong but mentally strong as well.

Thanks. I have been dealing with some, I think minor, but nagging knee issues for about 8 weeks now. I wrap mine from around 65% of my max these days. Plus I'm only competing with wraps so I might as well be as comfortable as possible in them. Sometimes I miss those days where I just put the Rehband sleeves on and got to work.

Wraps hurt. haha I'm starting to use them but, it's hard when I'm the only one there and I don't want someone that doesn't know how, to do it. As long as my knees are warmed up, I'm good and the Rehbands help for sure.
Was it from squatting or something out side of lifting?

Squatting. We were doing explosive squats and I was doing 350x2 for 5 sets or something. Did the first set with my belt on and took it off for the second set. My knees hurt during that set so I put it back on for the rest but the damage was apparently done already. My right is much worse than the left. Blue heat and arctic balm are absolute God sends haha.
