I know, not an original title....I'm going to try to keep my Journey more fitness related and not about personal issues.... My name is Michael Lopez. When I first started gaining size, friends who hadn't seen me in a while started calling me Swolepez.....Lopez (last name) + swole = Swolepez. So that's the reason for my user/ profile name.
Weight lifting past:
I started lifting almost 3 yrs ago. First year was pretty bad. First half of that yr: I got fat, went from 165lbs to 195 (added nothing but fat) . The 2nd part of that yr: I became Anorexic and depressed. Went from 195lbs to 148. So a yr had gone by and I had nothing to show for it. Then I decided I wanted to get serious. I started looking up videos/articles of guys with muscle and ran across a video of Branch Warren. He automatically appealed to me as "intense". I wanted that! Through this I discovered bodybuilding and the basics to eating, lifting, recovery, and supplementation. I also discovered a picture of a guy named Frank Mcgrath who was the first person I can actually say I pointed at and thought " this inspires me to be a Freak! ".
This is the pic:
Through Frank’s pic, I found the journey ads and eventually was brought to the Forvm earlier this yr. My motivation comes from Wrath, Rex, House, and Ox. My inspiration comes from my faith and the fact I want to be the best “me” that I can possibly be.
Current: I know I got a lot to learn but after my first yr, my last two have been good but not great. I'm currently 205-207lbs at 5'7 with my top 4 abs decently visible. My goal for the new yr is to keep size while losing body fat. Also I would like to build up my forearms and calves. This yr I want to be a true Bodybuilder. By that, I don't mean someone who just trains but then eats whatever they want, or someone who stays up late every night. By true Bodybuilder I mean, someone who doesn't miss a meal, doesn't stay out late, makes the sacrifices it takes and leaves nothing to chance....at the end of my Journey I don't ever want to wonder "what if". I want to know I gave it more than my all and then some.
Current injuries : I have lordosis in my lower back and have broken my collarbone twice and tore my rotator cuff once. So back and rotator cuffs are still kinda a week link.
I will post later about my diet, my style of training and my supp regimen.
