Nogi open mat tonight. Went all right. Got six rolls in but had to cut it short tonight. I got a major headache part way through tonight. I sat on the wall for a couple rolls but it wouldn’t pass.

Awesome nogi class tonight. Lots of cool drills and I had four awesome rolls. I didn’t win any but I didn’t lose any either. That’s a big win for me nogi. It amazes me how much more difficult nogi is for me versus gi. I didn’t realize how much I rely on gripping the gi.

Pretty good nogi open mat tonight. Got five rolls in I think. This is probably my last time rolling until after the Tri Cities Strongman Showdown on the 13th. I may drill a little bit next week but I gotta rest up some before the contest.
Thanks man. With my focus more on bjj than lifting now I feel really weak. The overheads were way tougher than I expected. I’m still trying to find balance between all of the things I want to train. I guess it’ll all work itself out eventually. I do have a few contests on the horizon so my focus is a little scattered but I do think it’ll work out. April 13th I’ve got a strongman show, May 18th bench only meet, June 2nd bjj tourney, June 29th a bodybuilding show. So if I finish all of them in this short of time without dying I’ll call it a win. I’m currently dieting for the bb show, I’m sitting at 181 right now. So yeah I’ve got to find some balance between it all. Lol
