I've had a gym in my basement since 2011. One of the founders of the gym I was training at, at that time had some beef with me and I decided to just move on. Still don't really know what was at the heart of the issue, and likely never will.

You know Chris what my old man used to say to me when I would tell him I had a beef with someone... FUCK'EM ALL BUT SIX!
My gym is open illegally. I’ve been going for the last 5-6 weeks. I’ve got @380 lbs of iron and a cheap half rack in my garage. The gym is nice since it gives more options and convenience. It’s just been too hot for the garage. Weather is changing here so I’ll probably use the garage more again. Some of the gyms here have gotten the wrong attention and were forced to shut down. Everyone in the gym always gets fined along with the gym owners.

Home garage gym! Even if I decide to move from my current badass home, my next home will have to have either a one car garage or a large shed in the backyard of sorts for a home gym. NEVER going to a public gym ever again for any reason. Too much bullshit and distractions.
I just got the power rack for the basement the other day and did my first workout with it yesterday. The mental benefit of being able to grab a weight workout again is huge!!!
I’m in a unique situation where I train mostly at a pretty large, decently outfitted gym that just has crap options for bars. There’s also a strength equipment company that rents warehouse space that’s directly attached to the gym, so I can use their private setup when I like. I’m super lucky to be able to do so, but it’s also limited beyond free weights.

Isn't it great? Love the idea of walking into my garage, training, than walking back into my house and don't have to worry about packing up, locker rooms, parking, traffic, etc.
