Saw the meet videos on FB. Congrats. Looks like fun
Thanks man. It was fun. Next up is the Revolution tournament March 2nd. It’s a much bigger tournament and a lot of people from our academy are competing so it should be a great time.

Proving Grounds BJJ Tournament, Auburn WA
I competed in the 195 masters class. There was only me and one other guy in my division so I had three matches scheduled all against the same guy. The first match went great for me I submitted him with an Americana in about a minute and a half. The second match he submitted from my side control pressure, and he passed on our third match. So I won my division. It was a lot of fun and I can not wait to compete again. Video of my matches are on my facebook. Next up is the Revolution tournament March 2nd.

Good class, worked arm bar drills. I opted not to roll because I strained my trap and lat on my right side on the axle deads Sunday. Still a good night.

Pretty good noon time class drilled a bunch and got a roll in. I'm glad the trap and lat issue pretty much resolved itself. I got an adjustment Monday which helped a lot. My back is crazy tight right now and apparently that's pulling a high rib out of place in addition to the muscle strain. I've been foam rolling morning and night since Sunday which is also helping. I think I need to get back into the practice of foam rolling on a regular basis, I've gotten away from it lately.

Great open mat session. Got some decent rolls in and spent some time drilling takedowns with a blue belt there. Very fun and productive day.
Any advice on finding a good chiropractor? I’m really starting to lean toward trying one out
I highly recommended chiropractic adjustments. I also recommended getting an inversion table, they do wonders. As for choosing the chiropractor, I don’t really know. One of my best friends is a chiropractor so I go to him.

Great open mat this morning. Got six 6 minute rolls done in about an hour. Great freaking time man!
