I don’t know how often it happens for everyone else but I seem to put one out every other month or so lol. It’s always been that way no matter how or what I’m training. I’ve actually gotten pretty good at putting them back in place with a pvc or foam roller. I wasn’t able to get this one in place so had planned on going to the chiropractor but Matt saved me a copay lol.
So is it not as bad as it sounds? I would think you’d have some kind of pain or soreness for awhile.

Real good day up there. I am amazed with the cambered bar presses. The weight really wants to swing so you have to stabilize like a mother. Everyone there seemed to feel them in different places, either core, upper back, or shoulders. I think they were good for targeting weak areas. Personally they beat the fuck out of my upper back. That is surprising because I figured it’d be my core that took the beating. Anyway these are a solid movement which I will be using more regularly.
I have a feeling your whole body is going to be sore and in pain in 48 hours =)

Great class today! Worked on passing butterfly guard, I had to leave a little early for work so only got a short roll in at the end. All around good day though.

Super quickie at lunch today. I spent yesterday watching a couple of our guys at the Proving Grounds sub only tourney. It really got me amped to compete again. So I’ll be competing at the Rev in March, really looking forward to it.
That’s the first time in awhile that I’ve flat benched with a barbell. Weights felt easy but it caused horrible pain in my right wrist, even with them taped and wrapped. I may be sticking to dumbbells for awhile.
Twice that I can remember I’ve felt with some wrist pain. Both times I put my wraps on just the one wrist for however long it took for it to resolve. Do you think it’s the position? With dumbbells your wrist is more neutral or can move.

Have developed some pain in my right wrist as well. Can't figure it out where it came from! Even hurts with the 36" wrist wraps wrapped tightly.
Thanks man. I use 36” wraps as well.

I’ve had pain in both wrists for some time. The right is worse than the left, sometimes there’s no pain in the left but always in the right. I’ve been taping one or both wrists for a year and a half or so. Also wrapping on anything that hurts. I have pretty limited range of motion in my right wrist from an old injury. For whatever reason dumbbells are fine but barbells kill me. My right wrist is also a deciding factor for what bar I use on squats. Getting under a straight bar hurts so I usually use specialty bars that allow for better hand placement for me.

Worked on de la Riva guard, real fun class. I was hoping to make it back for the night class to continue working it but ended up stuck at work until 7:30 last night. I’m looking forward to working from de la Riva some more.

Real good class. Worked de la Riva to single x to straight foot lock. Transitioning from de la Riva to single x was real confusing at first but by the end of class I tightened it up quite a bit. Good day.

Great open mat at lunch today! Got seven rolls in, it’s been a bit since I’ve got that many rolls in. I’m sure I’ll be feeling it tomorrow haha.
Sooooo do you eat? LOL. Seems like you train through your lunch break, which is great, but do you get a meal in somewhere? Shakes?
