Umm.. they're going ok. The weights were kept light yesterday, I worked in with a couple of guys and just did what they were doing. I've got some pain in my left shoulder again, I'm going to try some inclines Wednesday to see how that feels. If it feels like poop I may take a week or so off pressing of any kind.
On the plus side the scale said 220 today. I'm going to try and maintain this bodyweight for awhile, we'll see how that goes.
Im ready for my week off before the meet! Can always use a little time off!

Shit, I thought you were dead! How's things been? Ready to get back at it?
Uhm... I am Dead... *LOL* Things got crazy and so far off track, it's not even funny. Finally said to heck with it, and am back on the grind. How have you been doin' ?

I know that feeling! I'm going on vacation in two weeks so I want to keep hammering away at it until then, but I may not make it on the presses.

I'm glad you're grinding away again. I cannot complain. Things have been going pretty good, both in and out of the gym.
I'm happy the inclines didn't bother it. I'll drop my overheads and close grip on Sundays and stick with inclines on Wednesdays for a few weeks and see how it goes.
I had dropped inclines out of my routines and I now have about 80% less shoulder pain. Good to see they ddin't give you trouble. I love the swims. It's something I really need to do myself. I keep saying it but never do it LOL.

The inclines seem to work for me, everyone's different I guess. The trick is finding what works for you and running with it. I can't say enough good things about swimming, it's great for conditioning and it's fun too!

Good plan!

My quads were blown up after this, the next couple of days should be fun. I'm a little dissapointed with myself for stopping at 19, I should have attempted one more rep. My training partner called me out on this, and He was right. I just wasn't mentally tough enough.
19 reps with 3 plates is still a good accomplishment!
Thanks. My goal was 20 and I didn't quite make, so I'm a little disappointed. Although I haven't done a 20 rep squat in a long time my best is 275x20, so I'm real pleased with 315x19.

You'd rather miss a training session than a meal. Shit, diet is that important to a bodybuilder. It's an area that doesn't allow for any bad days or mistakes. You ready to make the sacrifice? - AnimalPak.com
