Decided to take a step back as of late. After coming back from europe, I've been in a rut. Pulling 5 plates week after week is cool and all, but it means nothing as far as improvement. Not pulling a PR after all this time the thread has existed is piss poor. Time to let the ego go, and go back to what got me here.

Shut it down at this point. Ridiculously humid in the gym today. Couldnt breathe before, let alone after sets. I noticed a lot of people lasted maybe 5-10 minutes before they packed up and left. Ass was kicked.
Back is feeling like it could use some stimulation after cutting it short on tuesday. Gonna do some upper back stuff today, get an arm day in tomorrow and squat on saturday.
Changed it up a bit. Theres a few good bros at my other gym who do strongman, powerlifting and crossfit with no discrimination. My kind of people.
Today they challenged me to do 100 squats at 135 for time. So I hit 100 reps of 135 in 5:06. Probably one of the hardest workouts i've done. I wanted to hit it sub 5, but i'll take this. My last rep probably took 3 seconds to get up. Gonna see how sore I am and probably hit deads on friday or saturday at the latest.
Hit a PR on squats today. Tired as all hell from studying for my import/export certification, but for some reason, I felt I could hit a PR for sure today.

A pretty awesome day in the books. I may just start doing that real gains and cookies shake every day now.
