Monday ME Deadlifts:
Rack pulls below knees ("16 position on corner rack, standing on 1 block): w/ black bands: 95*3, 135*3, 185*3, 225*3, 275*3.. Sometimes my brain works better than others, and today I couldn't figure out how much the bands made it and I was getting annoyed. Also, I discovered we don't have 2 even short bands so I had to ghetto rig it and wrap long bands in a way that worked but made calculation near impossible even when looking at the chart. So I said fuck that I need to feel this goddamn 352 in some way today, so fuck it, I took off the bands after 275*3,
Then 315*3, 335*3, 355*1 was uneven, so I had to stop to reset the bar properly. Then I did a double with 355. PR at that rack height.
Goodmornings: 165*5*4
Trap bar DLs: 255*7*3
Lat pulldown, close grip: 175*3, 170*5 was suppose to do 4 sets of 5, and I did but if it's not a full rep, I don't count it. Had to drop the weight :( 165*5*2
Seated ham curls: 100*12*3, dropset 110*5, 90*8, 70*12, 50*15
Quad extension: 120*8*3
Wasn't supposed to do the ham curl dropset or the quad extensions, but I'm just fucking incapable of sticking to only the program and nothing more.
Monday after next, I'm going for that elusive whore 352 on deadlifts. Again. I'm suppose to work up to a 2rm so I'll try to double that bitch. If not, I'll be happy with the single, and then go down to 340-5 for the double. I'll be at Iron Pit in Bloomington, Indiana. I spoke to them and it's a legit PL gym with all the shit I need, and I can dl and use chalk. One of the owners is a powerlifter.. Maybe being in a different environment will help me get that lift. It's been 4 months since I missed it the first time, 4 weeks since I missed it last time. I'm so fucking hungry for that shit. I need that shit. I'ma get that shit.
