I am interested in starting a 5x5 style training program. The StrongLifts 5x5 Advanced Program caught my eye. Here's a link if you are interested:

My concerns though are that the program does not seem to offer 1RM percentages off which to base my training. Instead, it calls for you to simply type in your numbers into a spreadsheet that does some of the rough work for you. Although sceptical, I am willing to give it a try in the name of trying something new.
Here is my main question though, StrongLifts seems to advocate adding 5 lbs a week to your lifts. Now, is this 5 lbs to my 1RM or 5 lbs to each working set?
It would be great to get some advice!
