      J Wong's Project A Alpha Testing Log

      Hey guys,

I was surprised with an email with a delivery about a week later that I would be testing this supplement with you guys. I just received the package in the mail and I will be taking it within the next couple of hours or so. I will report back with my initial thoughts.

Alright, tried Project A for the first time yesterday. It was "Flavor One".

Obviously I cannot reflect on the supplement yet in terms of recovery and effectiveness yet, but I can comment on the taste, how it mixes, and the color.

Let's put it this way...I saw the color of the powder and took a sniff. I knew immediately what flavor it was. I am not a huge fan of this particular flavor at all, but for the sake of the testing, I tried it anyways. When I tasted the drink, it was pretty surprising. It did not seem to be the standard taste of this particular flavor and it gave a bit of a "tang". I actually enjoyed the flavor! It mixed very well and the color change of the water was pretty drastic. It was pretty cool to see how fast the water turned into the color... (just kidding, I'm not telling!)

Looking forward to flavor 2 today.

Flavor 2 tastes really really good. I enjoyed it way better than flavor 2. It's going to be hard rotating the two!

I've used it for about four workouts now. I notice that I've been a little less sore from my workouts than usual. However, it is a newer style of training I have been doing for a few weeks, so I am not sure how much the minimum soreness is coming from the supplement compared to my body adjusting.

      Quick little update:

I've been using it intra workout and post workout. Good recovery, improved endurance with the weights, and overall I am feeling better outside of the gym.

Overall, I feel that Project A was a pretty good supplement. I loved the taste of flavor 2 and I really be using that flavor all the time (provided that is the flavor that is released). I wasn't a huge fan of flavor 1 after awhile. At first, it was OK, but it eventually became just tolerable for me.

Recovery was the best aspect of Project A. I was noticeably less sore throughout the duration of the testing process from workout to workout. Not only did I feel less sore, but I just felt better in the gym overall.

I can't say it effected my energy much. There was no "rush" or increase in body temperature.

I was a little late to the testing process, so I decided to use two scoops daily on workout days:

Intra Workout: I use a blend of orange gatorade powder, tropical punch universal iso whey (2 scoops), and I used a scoop of Project A. I mix this all in about 2 liters of water, maybe a little less. I noticed the following with the addition of Project A when it comes to taste: Flavor 1 was STRONG. It took over all those flavors and made it taste like it's one in just one scoop. Flavor 2 was somewhat the same, but really sweetened the drink.

Post Workout: I mixed it with one scoop of tropical punch universal whey protein. This was with about half of a shaker cup full of water. Obviously after reading the above, flavor 1 made the drink pretty damn strong and I had to drink it slow because there is a pretty big "tang" to it. Flavor 2....made it taste amazing. I loved flavor 2.

Project A was definitely a good supplement and when it hits the market for the public, it is going to be one of my staple supplements in my daily regimen.
