G'day guys,

I'm heading to New York from Australia for 2 weeks over Christmas and New years and looking to do some training while holidaying.

I'm going to be 10 minutes walk from grand central station. Will be my first time there so I'm not sure how everything works with public transport and travel time.

Being a first timer, what are peoples recommendations for powerlifting and strength gyms in the heart of New York or within the vicinity to make it easy to get to?

If time permits I may try to head to Skibas Gym or somewhere in Brooklyn for a single session.
