I'm 2.5 weeks out from my first meet after about a year and a half of strength training (local USAPL sanctioned event). I honestly never thought I would find myself at a powerlifting meet but knowing its right around the corner has been great motivation lol. I'm really not worried about my numbers vs others as much as I am about pushing myself to see how far I've come. At 6'2 175 I'm still pretty weak compared to most folks.
Anyone have any first meet pointers or words of wisdom. I'd like to show up as informed as possible. I have all my gear except for slippers to deadlift in and I have a pretty good idea of how I want to set up my attempts.
