What do you do when your entire training cycle leading up to a meet has been complete shit?
Do you still do the meet and hope for the best and probably embarrass yourself?
Or do you just eat the entry fee and drop out?
I'm heavier but weaker. My wilks is gonna be worse than the last meet unless some miracle occurs. And I don't believe in miracles.
I've tried everything you can imagine, I've changed programs, changed gyms, tried sumo deadlifts, etc. Now we're 2 weeks out and nothing is better.
They say after a week of rest I'll do better. Lol. How the fuck am I going to do better when I haven't pulled anything over my last meet's (easy at that meet) second attempt, since the last meet?
What do y'all think of just leaving after bench. Deadlifting has become so bad for me that I don't even want to do it anymore. What if I just make up some bullshit excuse and go home after bench to avoid it? My team thinks that's a bad idea but they don't know what it's like to fail consistently at what used to be their best lift for 9 whole fucking months.
