That 155X1 was a real grinder, I almost started laughing mid lift. Wasn't sure about pressing the day after benching, but I thought it was ok, the joints seemed fine. I'm just going to have to do it once in a while otherwise I'm benching every 9 days which doesn't seem enough. Getting used to the weight, putting in a base here but really controlling the working reps volume to not over work the joints.
Strained my right knee at the last deadlift session so I skipped the walking this week and was able to recover in time for the Squat. I was tentative but it went ok. Short on time had to wait for the Rack.

Got a spot on the 245 just to make sure. No spot on the pump set, I think I had more but didn't want to risk it or have to strain too hard. First time with 245 inside the rings. Pulldowns are going great.

Not much progress on the accessories EXCEPT that the elbows especially on the curls are feeling structurally stronger. Seems I'm working past that elbow strain from earlier in the year.

Right knee felt pretty well healed but I was concerned so I focused on neutral spine and keeping the knees in a healthy position. When I hit 315 for 5 I wanted to try 345 but was worried about injury since the knee had just recovered. So I made a deal with myself that I would allow myself to get one at 345 and that's it. It came up real well. Post workout knees feel great, right elbow held up as well.
Weight is a bit of a problem, I've been hovering around 195 and while I'd like to be leaner, I really think I can get a lot stronger so I do not want to do a cut. As long as the knees feel good I made add some walking. I am thicker now for sure and I like it so, I think the 182 goal weight is out the window.

The first rep at 315 came up fast so I decided to go again but got nervous about it and bailed on the depth. The second rep on the first set of the backdown set was more of a grinder than I wanted, the 315 burned me out but by the second set I recovered and thought about triples but decided to keep it at doubles and make sure I buried it. Right knee strain is almost 100% recovered now.
Houston we got a problem, my weight jumped to 196.4 this morning, have to shut this down.

Abs were pretty sore from yesterday. Still trying to strengthen the arms. Pressing is still creeping up just very slowly. Just trying to grab an extra rep where I can.

Was supposed to deadlift next but I helped my son move to Indy a couple days and managed to misstep off the truck and land on the second rung with my full weight on my right leg. Jammed it a bit. Was able to walk 2 this morning, but I'll give it another day. Weight is heading in the right direction and finally some walking weather so we'll get on it. Hadn't benched in a while. Didn't try for more than singles at 225 just wanted the structure to feel the weight. Am really liking how I'm handling the weight at 225. I can miss the groove and pull it back and finish strong so to me that's progress. A few working sets at 185 to get it going again.

Wanted to deadlift yesterday but the right leg still wasn't right. Stretched the calves and this morning things feel good. Maybe today otherwise I'll press today and go tomorrow for sure.

Last Deadlift was the 16th, so I thought we'd lose some but it went well. Right hand grip was lagging, callouses were ripping a little. Pressing and squatting and we're back on track. Not sure what it is but I really think I can get stronger.

Was interesting pressing the day after deadlifts, the traps were shot for sure. My plan is to try and grab as many clean reps as I can between 135-155. Tried for doubles a couple times at 145 and failed, but I was close. Still wanting to strengthen my arms. Probably need to be at 105 for the curls but using the fixed bars and the increments are 10lbs. I think first time though I ground out multiple sets at 110. Not happy about the size of my arms but I'm focused on strength here for a while. Weight was 195.4 this morning, got a better handle on the meal plan, just want to keep the weight in check, not looking to cut I want to get stronger yet.
