Interesting. Lately I've been doing something very similar. I lie on my back at the top of the stairs with my head hanging off the edge of the stairs, which provides decompression to the thoracic spine and simultaneously I've been bringing my arms up over my head getting into the superman position and really stretching the shoulders out. The other thing I've added which I should have never stopped doing is the door jam stretch where u put your arms in a l_o_l position and push through the door jam. After I had been in the car accident I couldn't even bench which the bar without tears, but I started doing that stretch and was able to work through the scar tissue and get the shoulders back to a healthier position where I could bench again. I appreciate the heads up, i don't know why I ever stop the mobility work, it's stupid.

6 mile run @ 63:43
Notes:
Hadn't run in a week, my wind was fine, but my Quads felt very heavy from the Squats, but it was the first day back Squatting, recovery should be better from here. I don't think that running and lifting are necessarily synergistic, but it is the balance that I'm looking for so we'll figure out how to make it work. Been doubling up on the mobility work, trying to alleviate the tension on the shoulders, feels like it's mostly impingement but I may have strained the right shoulder too. Not looking to push through it, just want to keep a modicum of fitness while I facilitate healing of the thoracic - shoulder tightness.
