I wasn't able to find the answer to my question in any threads already posted, but I appologize if it's a recurring one. I'm running 5/3/1 right now and I'm considering implementing deficit deadlifts in the near future. I'd like to build a stronger/faster pull off of the floor, as this seems to be my weakness (lockouts haven't proven to be an issue yet). My question is, should I program them in conjunction with my normal deadlifts or should I replace my normal deadlifts with deficits for X ammount of mesocycles and use the 5/3/1 progression scheme for them?
