Hey guys
Ive been wanting to build a deadlift platform at home so I don't have to deadlift at a commercial gym. I've got my own TDB and plates alread just need the platform. It's going to be downstairs in the basement and I want to make a pretty heavy duty platform. Does anyone have any experience building one? I'd like to make it pretty tall (several layers of wood and hard rubber mats) so that way the shock from pulling doesn't affect the house. Does this sound like a good idea? Anyone's input is greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!
