So...background, I hurt my knee squatting, first time getting wrapped and was decently heavy but a weight I could do with me wrapping myself...mid 8's...anyway...knee started hurting, figured I went down wrong as it was pinching so bad it cut me a little. Got better in a day or two, went back the following week, same thing but worse, then limped for a month or so, started getting better but never really got all the way back to normal. So, got an MRI...Dr read it and he can't believe I can walk, much less lift with my knee, and it been over 7 months ago I hurt it blew his mind, was about 2 months before Boss of Bosses...He said that I have a tear in the meniscus from inside, across the bottom to the outside, it's crushed and pertruding outside the femur head. He asked if pain pills worked and I said I never took them...and he started calling in staff to come look at it and hear the story I guess...apparently it regenerated slightly which is very rare and the talk of Wolverine started so whatever. It is what it is...still a pain in the ass though...so meeting with an ortho soon to see what options are...anyone here with any history of this and getting it fixed? What all is involved, options, scope vs invasive, recovery time, how long to walk, work, lift, etc....just wanting personal experiences if there are any. Thanks.
