Woke up this morning at 320 and downed a protein shake and ate a whole grapefruit. 10 mins later, I was out the door heading to the gym. On the way, I downed some preworkout. Upon arriving, I warmed up before heading to spark shoulder and tricep day. Now the tricep workout was the same one from the past 2 weeks but the shoulder workout is a bit different. Since ill be hitting shoulders twice a week (area ive been needed to bring up from since my first show), Ill be doing a Kris Gethin regiment geared toward bringing up shoulders (the other work days will still be the Zyzz regiment). First up was seated BB military press fpr 3x10,8,8 (125,130,130). Next was clean and press. Now this is one of my favorite exercises since it includes one of my favorite moves, the power clean (a highly explosive move). First set was 125 for 10 smooth reps. Second set I went up to 135 and grinding out 9 reps. Third set I stayed at 135 and hit 8 reps. Next was seated alternate DB military press for 3x10,10,8 (55). Last for shoulders was reverse grip smith machine military press for 3x12,12,10 (95,105,115). Now was time for tricep work. First was close grip bench press for 3x8 (175,175,180). Next was angled bar pushdowns for 3x12,10,8 (80,85,85). Last was weighted dips for 3x10,10,8 (25,30,30). Now was time for a date with the stair climber for 32 mins. i did level 10 for 1 min, level 11 for 7 mins, level 12 for 7 mins, level 13 for 7 mins, level 14 for 7 mins, and level 15 for 3 mins. Afterwards, I stretched before heading home to eat 1/2 cup of oats, eggs, turkey bacon, and a banana. Chest and biceps on deck for tomorrow
