I've been struggling with my lifts lately. Weights I should be able to get reps with feel like one rep maxes. It's just a battle to fight at the end of the day. I'm not quitting by any stretch of the imagination but I can't just continue on with mediocre performances and be happy with life. I don't even think that could honestly be considered living. That's existence. That's the Matrix that everybody else drifts along in as normal shaped flotsam instead of awesome specimens of power and strength. Nobody cares about the guy who's sort of strong.
This is a shameless plug but even if somebody else had written it I'd recommend it. I just poured out my thoughts in a blog on my site Garage Gym Life.
If you want to read it here's the link: http://wp.me/p1Djlm-10p
If not, you can just watch the video Fighting The Leopard. It puts the problem in perspective.
