I'd suggest you experiment with it. That is really the only way to know if it works for you, everyone is different.
Just a suggestion, do it right and give it some time. I tried keto one other time in the past and I didn't like it but I didn't eat enough fat (psychologically it's a tough thing to do) and I didn't give it enough time.
The one carb meal I have per week doesn't seem to knock me out of the K-hole.
