So I've seen this circulate in the news quite a bit:

Although dieticians and lay persons can give their own thoughts on such a diet, I was extremely curious as to what some of the very knowledgeable and experienced powerlifters and bodybuilders on this forum thought about Russell Wilson's diet, since you guys can provide a unique perspective from the world of strength/hypertrophy training and competing.

I have heard about some athletes increasing their calories and losing weight and body fat before, but not to the point of being able to nearly double one's caloric intake. Furthermore, I was interested in Wilson's food choices; it's not quite ketogenic, but still cuts out gluten and processed foods, and the high meal frequency was very bodybuilder-esque. I was also rather confused and skeptical by his nutritionist's explanation of needing "caloric heat" to burn fat, but I can't argue with his results. I'd love to hear what ya'll think about this.
